Most Common Issues (All Models)

• No power / won't turn on: Replace batteries with fresh alkaline/rechargeable; check battery orientation; connect AC adapter securely.
• Tape jam / cutter not working: Open cassette cover, remove tape carefully; clean cutter blade with alcohol swab.
• Faded or incomplete printing: Use genuine Brother TZe tape; clean print head with cleaning cassette or alcohol on cotton swab.
• Lines or streaks on labels: Clean print head and rollers; ensure tape cassette fully seated.
• Error messages (E.g., “No Tape”, “Battery Low”): Insert correct tape cassette; replace batteries; reset by removing batteries/power for 10 min.
• Text not printing as shown on screen: Ensure correct font/size selected; preview before printing; update firmware if available.

Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Models

• Cannot connect to app (P-touch Design&Print): Enable Bluetooth/Wi-Fi on device; reset network settings on labeler; reinstall app.
• PC software not detecting printer: Install latest P-touch Editor; use correct USB driver; check cable/port.

Tape & Maintenance Tips

• Wrong tape size detected: Use only genuine Brother TZe/TZ tapes; clean tape sensor.
• Labels peeling off: Use laminated TZe tape for durability; clean surface before applying.

Safety note: Always unplug AC adapter before cleaning. Do not disassemble unit. Use only recommended tapes and power sources.
