Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, flat surface.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment on bottom, insert 6 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Load tape cassette: Open cassette cover, insert tape with ink roller facing down, close cover firmly.
  3. Connect power (optional): Plug AC adapter into DC IN 5.2V port and wall outlet.
  4. Power on: Slide POWER switch to ON position.

WARNING! Do not look into the tape exit slot while printing. Keep fingers clear of cutter mechanism.

First-Time Setup

Power on the labeler; follow on-screen prompts on LCD.

  1. Set language: Press FUNCTION, then LANGUAGE to select English (default).
  2. Set tape width: Machine auto-detects tape; confirm on display.
  3. Set date/time (if applicable): Use FUNCTION > SETTINGS menu.
  4. Test print: Type sample text and press PRINT to ensure proper operation.

Connecting Devices

  3. Connect standard USB end to PC or USB power adapter.
  4. Power on labeler; it will draw power from USB if batteries are not installed.

Creating Labels

Supports text, symbols, frames, and sequential numbering.

  1. Enter text: Type directly using keyboard.
  2. Format text: Use LETTER SIZE, FONT, and FRAME keys to style.
  3. Preview: Press PREVIEW to see layout before printing.
  4. Print: Press PRINT; label prints and auto-cuts (if AUTO CUT is ON).
  5. Manual cut: Press CUT lever if additional cutting is needed.
  6. Numbering: Use FUNCTION > NUMBERING to create sequential labels.
  7. Save to memory: After creating label, press FUNCTION > MEMORY > STORE.

WARNING! Do not pull tape during printing. Allow cutter cycle to complete.

Advanced Functions

Sequential Numbering: Create labels with incrementing/decrementing numbers. Mirror Printing: Print text reversed for application on transparent tape. Power Save: Automatically powers off after 5 minutes of inactivity (adjustable).

Care & Cleaning

Turn off and disconnect power before cleaning. Use dry, soft cloth to wipe exterior. Clean cutter blade occasionally with cotton swab if adhesive residue builds up.

CAUTION! Never use solvents, alcohol, or wet cloth on the unit. Do not immerse in water.
