Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • AC power adapter (included)
  • Label tape cartridge
  • Batteries (optional)
  • USB cable (for PC connection)
  • P-touch Editor software (downloadable)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check all components are present and undamaged.
  2. Power Source: Insert batteries or connect the AC power adapter to the labeler and a power outlet.
  3. Load Label Tape: Open the tape compartment and insert the label tape cartridge following the directional arrows.
  4. Initialize the Labeler: Turn on the power and follow the on-screen prompts to set language, date, and time.
  5. Software Installation: For PC connectivity, install P-touch Editor software from the included CD or Brother website.
  6. Connect to PC: Connect the labeler to your computer using the USB cable for advanced label design.
  7. Test Print: Create and print a test label to ensure proper installation and operation.
Warning: Use only genuine Brother label tapes and accessories to ensure optimal performance and prevent damage to the labeler.
