Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a clean, flat surface.

  1. Connect power: Insert the AC adapter plug into the DC IN jack on the side of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  2. Alternatively, install batteries: Open the battery compartment on the bottom, insert 6 AA batteries (not included) following polarity markings, and close the compartment.
  3. Turn on the unit: Press the POWER button. The LCD should illuminate.
