Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • AC power adapter
  • USB cable (for PC connection)
  • Label tape cartridge
  • Batteries (optional)
  • Cleaning cloth

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check all components are present and undamaged.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the AC power adapter to the label maker and plug into a power outlet. Alternatively, install 6 AA batteries.
  3. Load Label Tape: Open the tape compartment and insert the label tape cartridge according to the directional arrows.
  4. Initial Setup: Turn on the device and follow the on-screen prompts to set language, date, and time.
  5. PC Connection (Optional): Connect to your computer via USB cable for advanced label design using P-touch Editor software.
  6. Software Installation: Install the P-touch Editor software from the included CD or download from Brother's website.
  7. Test Print: Create and print a test label to ensure proper operation.

Troubleshooting
