Step-by-Step Setup
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present and undamaged.
- Power Source: Connect the AC adapter to the labeler and plug into a power outlet, or install batteries for portable operation.
- Install Tape Cartridge: Open the tape compartment and insert the label tape cartridge according to the directional arrows.
- Power On: Press the power button to turn on the labeler. The display should illuminate.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to set language, date, time, and default settings.
- Test Print: Create a simple test label to ensure proper tape feeding and printing quality.
- Software Installation: For PC connectivity, install P-touch Editor software from the included CD or Brother website.
