Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment and insert 6 AA batteries (not included) or connect AC adapter.
  2. Install Label Cassette: Open cassette cover, insert TZe tape cassette with printing side facing down, then close cover securely.
  3. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the label maker. The display will show the main menu.
  4. Set Language: Use arrow keys to navigate to language settings and select your preferred language.
  5. Set Date/Time: Configure date and time settings for timestamp labels if needed.
  6. Test Print: Create a test label to ensure proper installation and tape alignment.
  7. Connectivity Setup: For optional PC connection, install Brother P-touch Editor software from included CD or website.
Warning: Use only Brother TZe tape cassettes. Using incompatible tapes may damage the printer mechanism and void warranty.
