Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, flat surface.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 6 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Install label tape: Open cassette cover, insert tape cassette with window facing up, close cover.
  3. Connect AC adapter: Plug adapter into DC IN jack and into wall outlet (optional).
  4. Power on: Press the POWER button.

WARNING! Use only specified Brother AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

First-Time Setup

Power on the label maker; follow on-screen prompts.
