Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • AC power adapter (included)
  • Label tape cartridge
  • Batteries (optional, for portable use)
  • USB cable (for PC connection)
  • P-touch Editor software (downloadable)

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and check contents against packing list.
  2. Install Batteries/Connect Power: Insert 6 AA batteries or connect the AC power adapter to the label maker.
  3. Load Label Tape: Open the tape compartment and insert the label tape cartridge with the tape end facing outward.
  4. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the device. The display should illuminate.
  5. Language Selection: Select your preferred language from the setup menu using the arrow keys.
  6. Date/Time Setup: Set the current date and time for timestamp functions.
  7. Test Print: Create and print a test label to ensure proper operation.
  8. Software Installation: Install P-touch Editor software on your computer for advanced label design.
Warning: Use only Brother genuine label tapes and accessories. Third-party tapes may cause damage and void warranty.
