Installation & Setup

Loading the Tape Cassette

Ensure the power is OFF before loading tape.

Open the cassette cover by sliding the latch and lifting the cover.
Insert a TZe tape cassette with the tape coming from the bottom and the transparent window facing up.
Gently press the cassette down until it clicks into place.
Close the cassette cover firmly until it latches.
Turn power ON. The tape will automatically feed to the cutting position.

Tip: Always use genuine Brother TZe tapes for optimal performance and to avoid damage.

Creating a Basic Label

Follow these steps to create and print a simple label.

Press POWER to turn on the unit.
Type your desired text using the keyboard. Use Backspace to correct.
Press FONT to select a font style (e.g., Gothic, Script).
Press SIZE to select a font size (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large).
(Optional) Press FRAME to add a decorative border.
Preview your text on the LCD display.
Press PRINT. The label will print and automatically cut.
Peel off the backing and apply the label.

WARNING! Do not touch the cutter blade. Keep fingers away during printing and cutting.

Advanced Features

Symbols: Press the Symbols key to insert preset symbols (arrows, warning signs, etc.).
