Step-by-Step Setup
- Insert Batteries/Connect Power: Insert 6 AA batteries or connect the AC power adapter to the designated port.
- Install Tape Cartridge: Open the tape compartment and insert the tape cartridge with the tape feeding toward the cutting mechanism.
- Power On: Press the power button to turn on the label maker. The display will show the main menu.
- Set Date/Time: Navigate to settings and set the current date and time for time-stamp features.
- Connect to PC (Optional): For PC-connected models, install the P-touch Editor software from the included CD or website.
- Test Print: Create a test label to ensure proper tape feeding and printing quality.
- Configure Preferences: Set your preferred font, size, and formatting options in the settings menu.
