Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, flat surface.

  1. Insert tape cassette: Open cassette cover, insert tape with printing side down, close cover.
  2. Connect power: Plug the AC adapter into the power port and then into a wall outlet.
  3. Power on: Press the POWER button; the LCD should illuminate.
  4. Set language: Use the FUNCTION key to select your preferred language.

WARNING! Do not touch the print head or cutting blade. Keep fingers away from moving parts during operation.

First-Time Operation

Power on the P-touch; follow on-screen prompts.
