Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, flat surface.

  1. Insert tape cassette: Open cassette cover, insert TZe tape with window facing up, close cover.
  2. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into power connector and wall outlet.
  3. Install batteries (optional): Open battery compartment, insert 6 AA batteries observing polarity.
  4. Power on: Press the POWER button.

WARNING! Use only Brother TZe tape cassettes. Do not force the cassette compartment closed.

  4. If using both, AC adapter takes priority and charges batteries (if rechargeable).

Tip: For best performance, use new alkaline batteries or fully charge rechargeable ones.

Creating Labels

Supports text, symbols, and frames.

  1. Enter text: Type desired label text using keyboard.
  2. Format text: Use FONT, SIZE, BOLD, UNDERLINE keys to style.
  3. Add elements: Press FRAME or SYMBOL to insert decorative items.
  4. Preview: Check layout on LCD display.
  5. Print: Press PRINT. Label prints and auto-cuts if enabled.
  6. Manual cut: If auto-cut is off, pull tape cutter lever after printing.
  7. Peel & apply: Peel backing from printed tape and apply to surface.

WARNING! Do not touch print head after extended use; it may be hot. Allow to cool.
